At Zap Riders, weโ€™re committed to providing you with high-quality electric bikes and peace of mind with every purchase. Below are the details of our warranty coverage.

๐Ÿ”’ Limited Manufacturer Warranty

We offer a 12-month limited manufacturer warranty for the original retail purchaser only. This warranty includes the supply of free spare parts (under warranty) and online technical support within the warranty period.

Please note: Warranty service is limited to parts replacement only โ€” we do not cover labor, on-site repairs, or callouts.

Breakdown by Part Category:

โœ… Covered Under Warranty:

  • 12 Months: E-bike Frame, Stem, Handlebar (metal), Rear Fork Assembly

  • 6 Months: Motor (or up to 10,000 km), Battery Pack, Display (Computer), Motor Controller, Battery Charger

  • 3 Months: Headlight, Taillight, Throttle, Brake Lever, Brake Caliper, Brake Cable, Kickstand, Saddle

  • 30 Days: Tyres, Inner Tubes, Handlebar Grips, Fenders, Post for Saddle, Transmission Gears

โŒ Not Covered (Wear & Tear Items):

  • Shifter, Bearings, Brake Pads, Disc Pads, Chains, Sprockets, Spokes, Freehub Bodies, Casings, Bolts, Tools, Fasteners, and all rubber components.


๐Ÿšซ Warranty Exclusions

The following are NOT covered under warranty:

  1. Improper battery use

    • Using a non-approved charger

    • Leaving battery uncharged for over a month

    • Incorrectly connecting the charging cable

    • Note: Deep discharge from neglect may render the battery permanently unusable.

  2. Water damage

    • Our e-bikes are rain-resistant, not waterproof. Use in wet, flooded, or snowy conditions is not covered.

  3. Accidental or misuse damage

    • Includes racing, stunts, overloading, or crashes.

  4. Neglect or failure to maintain the bike properly

    • Not following the user manual or routine maintenance guidelines.

  5. Courier-related issues

    • We are not liable for damage or loss during shipping. Please contact the shipping carrier for resolution. Weโ€™re happy to assist you in making a claim.


๐Ÿ”„ Out-of-Warranty Support

Even if your bike is no longer under warranty, or was damaged by user-related causes, we can still supply replacement parts for up to 12 months after purchase. Prices are updated regularly and available upon request.
